StrategyOne recently released the results of a ground-breaking segmentation, revealing Americans views on U.S. leadership in the world. This 15 month study of 13,560 American adults segments the US public into one of four well known approaches to global leadership (idealistic, creative-intellectual, military and economic). The results are interesting, and particularly noteworthy, since the research used in the segmentation was conducted between May of 2007 and August of 2008.

November 17, 2008New findings from this year’s goodpurpose™ global study of consumer attitudes reveal that nearly seven in 10 (68%) consumers would remain loyal to a brand during a recession if it supports a good cause, and 71% say that when they think about the economic downturn, they have either given the same or more time and money to good causes. The study was released today by goodpurpose™, a consultancy at Edelman dedicated to connecting brands and companies with consumers around a powerful, involving social purpose idea for mutual benefit.
